The topics include History focusing upon the Windrush generation, Geography exploring co-ordinates and map skills, along with revisiting Science knowledge previously covered to develop investigation and practical skills, such as:

• Creating adaptive animals
• Exploring the change in shadow lengths
• Creating circuits 

In Mathematics the focus is upon reviewing core skills and applying them within real life opportunities.

Our Class book is The Final Year by Matt Goodfellow. This poetry novel explores the journey of a year 6 pupil including changes, challenges and processing the transition to secondary school.
