Welcome to Year 4 - Jeanne Baret class. 

In Year 4 the teachers are Mrs Walters (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and Mrs Cheeseborough (Thursday and Friday).

Term 1 and 2

In term 1 and 2, our topic is a Geography focus based on 'Extreme Earth'. In Science, we will covering Sound in term 1 and States of Matter in term 2. Please go to the term 1 and 2 tab where you will find the knowledge organiser and termly overviews to see what knowledge the children will be learning and what they need to know by the end of the topic.

Term 3

In term 3,the topic is the Ancient Egyptians. Please go to the term 3 tab where you will find the knowledge organiser and termly overviews to see what knowledge the children will be learning and what they need to know by the end of the topic.

Term 4 and 5

In terms 4 and 5, the topic is Ancient Greece. In Term 4 we will also be learning about electricity in Science. Please find the overviews for the terms in the Term 4 and 5 tab.

Term 6

In term 6, we are doing double Science- Animals, including humans and living things.
