Writing Challenge- April 27th
27th April Writing Challenge
KS1 and KS2 story writing
Go outside of you house (if you have a garden, then lucky you and even better) and look up towards the sky and take note of the things that are flying around. Give yourself at least 5 minutes just relax and take in your surroundings.
Now decide on one of the things that you noticed flying. This could be a bird, a butterfly or an insect (maybe a bee, wasp, dragonfly) and write a story of its journey. Think about where it’s already been, what hazards it may have come across, what wonders they may have seen and what they will encounter next on their adventure. Also think about if it is doing its job, whether it’s lost, or if it has fallen out of its nest? You may want to create a map to go along side your story to illustrate where your characters has been or is going.
